Sales Associate- Pete Lane's Village

As a Sales Associate, you’ll help guests gear up for a variety of mountain adventures like skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing or even a casual cocktail party or a night out on the town. Pete Lane’s carries clothing and gear for the whole family from outdoor lifestyle brands including Patagonia, Mammut, Picture, Kuhl, Fjall Raven, Indyeva, Sendero and more. This is an hourly position with commission-perfect for someone who loves retail and an outdoor lifestyle. Must be able to work on weekends and holidays. Wage is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist guests in selecting the right products.
• Answer questions about merchandise features, pricing, and availability.
• Stock shelves, counters, and tables with new merchandise.
• Create visually appealing displays and promotional setups.
• Process sales accurately, including total bills, accepting payments, and making change.
• Bag or gift wrap items and thank each guest for their visit.
• Maintain a clean and organized retail space.
• Perform end-of-shift cash handling and register reconciliation.
• Apply discounts and promotions as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:    

• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. 
• Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, poking, and reaching.
• Can regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including weekends, holidays, and early or late shifts. 
• Retail experience strongly preferred.
