Ski and Ride School Monitor

The Ski and Ride School Monitor is an important part of our Ski and Ride team, helping to ensure a smooth, safe, and welcoming experience for our guests and their families. This hands-on role supports daily setup, service, and clean-up operations, and assists ski instructors with class management throughout the day.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly, professional attitude

• Provide excellent customer service to parents, children, and fellow team members

• Assist with setup and breakdown of indoor and outdoor areas, including signage, fencing, and seating

• Support the preparation, serving, and cleanup of snacks and lunch service

• Assist ski instructors with class organization, transitions, and general child management

• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, including sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, and stocking/restocking supplies

• Support restroom cleaning and tidying as needed

 

Qualifications:

• Friendly, approachable, and adaptable in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment

• Must be able to follow instructions, stay organized, and communicate clearly with both children and adults

• Previous experience working with children or in hospitality preferred, but not required

• Must be dependable, punctual, and a strong team player

• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions (sun, rain, heat, cold, snow, etc.)

• Availability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled

• Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as walking, lifting, gripping, and reaching

• Can safely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
