Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. PURPOSE OF POSITION: Skier Services Sales Agents book ski lessons, ski rentals, and children’s center activities and sell lift tickets and process payments at one or more of nine guest-facing locations around the resort.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sell and process ski lessons, ski rentals, children’s center activities, and lift tickets products
• Maintain complete and up-to-date guest records across multiple systems 
• Provide accurate information to guests
• Maintain balanced point-of-sale throughout the day 
• Accurately process enrollment & assumption of risks agreements
• Assist with various location responsibilities as assigned by location lead or other supervisory/back-office team members
• Keep informed of new sales processes, policies, and other information through active participation in location meetings and other communication channels
• Keep abreast of resort-specific information pertinent to the job or guests
• Perform basic office duties, including keeping the sales and guest areas stocked, clean, orderly, and safe 
• Rotate sales locations to meet business or training needs
• Complete agent training requirements pre-season and ongoing in-season
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Advanced computer skills, including familiarity with point-of-sale systems
• Ability to learn new computer systems and navigate between multiple programs simultaneously
• Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 25 lbs. Occasionally
• Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends and holidays

DATES OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Mid to late-November to mid-April

PAY RATE:

• $21.00 per hour
