POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for orchestrating a wonderful mountain experience at various activity locations, including the ice-skating rink, the rock-climbing gym and more! This is a seasonal position with part-time and occasional opportunities. This position pays $20.00/hour.
Recruitment for this role will be ongoing through December.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Responsible for establishing and maintaining all operational aspects of Activities locations
Work with Activities Supervisor/Manager to execute operations safely and seamlessly, from opening/closing procedures to addressing guest/staff concerns, and identifying areas for improvement
Conduct necessary business maintenance and preparation
Ensure all safety signs, mats, and visual safety indicators are in place
Address and resolve any unsafe, unusual, abnormal situations or incidents during operations
Adhere to, and implement, all required safety policies and procedures for staff and guests
Work with other departments including, but not limited to, Retail, Food & Beverage, Events, Marketing, and Operations to best utilize our company’s assets and resources
Maintain excellent guest and employee communication, ensuring guest satisfaction remains at the highest level possible
Attend and participate in daily, weekly, or monthly safety meetings as directed by the Activities Supervisor or Activities Operations Manager
Other duties as requested by Department Supervisor, Manager, or Senior Leadership Team
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Must be 16+ years of age
Excellent communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, resort environment
Strategic & creative thinker - The ideal candidate will be able to assess and identify challenges and work with managers, resort leaders, and other staff to overcome them.
Team Player - be flexible and open to new ideas and changing priorities.
Actively pursuing a Highschool Diploma or equivalent
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
